Repairs
AJM Automation offer a repair and service facility for CTC Parker products and AJM Automation Ltd systems.
In order for a unit to be sent for repair, you will require a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
Procedure for RMA number
The following information is REQUIRED in order for an RMA to be issued:
- Name and e-mail address of person responsible for the return
- Technical contact to answer questions about the unit
- Telephone number and Fax number
- Accurate description of the problem with the unit
- Purchase order number for repairs (required prior to issuing an RMA number) - see below
- Model number & Serial number
Goods returned for repair must include an RMA number and should be addressed to:-

A ninety day warranty is given for replacement components.
Repair charges: Repair charges for products are determined by the price of the actual component or components which require replacement - plus a test and evaluation fee (£ 150.00 or € 240.00). AJM Automation Ltd will contact the customer/distributor if a product is "beyond repair." . No additional work will be carried out until AJM Automation Ltd receives written approval from the customer, for the additional costs incurred
No Problem Found Classification (NPF): When a unit has been sent in for repair and no problem is found, it is AJM Automation's policy to charge a testing and evaluation fee. Should a unit have third party cards fitted which cause the problem, we will endeavour to replace or repair the cards at a stated price.
Software Liability: AJM Automation Ltd accept no liability for application software on any units sent for repair. It is the customer's responsibility to make appropriate software backups before despatch, in case data is lost during the repairs procedure. All efforts will be made to protect the original application and settings where possible.
